About “ME” Mary Elizabeth

Mary Elizabeth (or ME, as we lovingly call her) is a radiant teenage girl whose spirit is as bold as it is beautiful. Full of life, she’s the perfect mix of sweet and spicy—her determination lights up every room she enters. Though she lives with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and a number of other complex medical challenges, ME meets each day with courage, grit, and a sassy twinkle in her eye.  Her journey has taken her through a wide spectrum of therapies and treatments—both traditional and alternative. From intense medical regimens to healing modalities that tap into energy, frequency, and faith, ME has tried it all. And while progress hasn’t always come quickly, it has come—small, meaningful steps that have brought greater comfort, connection, and capacity. In her story, “slow and steady wins the race” isn’t just a phrase; it’s a lived truth. And through it all, she continues to teach everyone around her about resilience, presence, and the power of never giving up
